On October 29, China Mobile Communications Corporation initiated the centralized procurement project for China Mobile's 700MHz 5G core network inter-network roaming equipment for the period from 2025 to 2026.
According to the bidding information, this phase of centralized procurement involves purchasing dedicated core network equipment for 5G core network inter-network roaming. A total of 12 sets of 5G core network inter-network roaming equipment are needed, with the procurement demand expected to be met by December 2026.
The project adopts a share-based bidding approach without dividing into packages, with two companies expected to win the bid. The maximum bid price, excluding tax, is set at 82.8 million yuan.
