China Unicom recently announced its operational data for March 2024. According to the announcement, as of the end of March, the total number of "Great Connectivity" users reached 1,027.843 million, with a net increase of 15 million users compared to the previous month. Among them, the total number of 5G plan users reached 268.865 million, with a month-on-month increase of 3.206 million users. The number of IoT terminal connections reached 528.51 million.
In addition, the number of 5G industry virtual private network service customers reached 10,030, with a net increase of 524 compared to the previous month, surpassing the ten thousand mark.
As of the end of March, China Unicom had authorized a total of 362 patents this year.
