On August 7, China Mobile released its 2025 interim performance report, showing an operating revenue of 543.8 billion yuan and a net profit attributable to shareholders of 84.2 billion yuan, up 5.0% year-on-year.
The report indicates continuous improvements in China Mobile's new-generation information infrastructure. In the first half of the year, the company's capital expenditure reached 58.4 billion yuan, with the full-year budget set at less than 151.2 billion yuan. The ratio of capital expenditure to revenue continued to decline.
As of the reporting period, China Mobile has deployed over 2.59 million 5G base stations, becoming the first global operator to achieve 100% cloud-integrated core networks. Its RedCap coverage exceeded 732,000 stations, achieving continuous coverage in all county-level regions and above across China. Additionally, the company's gigabit broadband network now serves 500 million households.
