China Unicom has recently issued an official announcement stating that the company will hold a public bidding event for the disposal of scrap cables on the Alibaba Asset Auction Network Platform. The auction will take place from 10:00 AM on October 30, 2024, to 10:00 AM on October 31, 2024 (excluding any extensions). The account name is China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd. .
The items up for auction are scrap cables from 18 provinces and cities, including Beijing, Hebei, Liaoning, Shandong, Shanxi, Henan, Jilin, Gansu, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang, Hunan, Yunnan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Anhui, and Jiangxi. The total length amounts to 1,217,991 cable kilometers.
These items are state-owned obsolete assets. After winning the bid, the buyer will be responsible for the recovery of all scrap cables in the aforementioned regions. The starting bid is 213.15 million yuan, with a deposit of 5 million yuan, and bidding increments must be in multiples of 20,000 yuan.
