According to incomplete statistics, more than 100 operators worldwide have implemented 2G/3G dropout, using the frequency of 2G/3G dropout for 4G/5G deployment. Applying limited frequency and network resources to the development of 5G and 4G mobile communication networks is beneficial for reducing overall network operating costs and improving China's network operational efficiency. At present, most of them are all network connected mobile phones, which need to support all six standards and more than ten frequency bands. Dropping off the network can also reduce the complexity of mobile phones, improve their efficiency, and reduce the cost of mobile terminals.
Secondly, the withdrawal of mobile communication from the network is not simply a matter of "saying goodbye". We need to improve user protection measures in order to fully protect the rights and interests of users before implementing network withdrawal. Enterprises need to plan and inform users early, and must have user protection measures and comprehensive user aftermath plans. They must have the ability to provide better network coverage, stronger business capabilities, and better service quality, creating conditions for users to "be willing to quit" and "be willing to quit".
