According to Jian Qin, Deputy General Manager of China Mobile, China Mobile has already built 124,000 5G base stations in 56 cities, and has attracted over 50 million 5G subscribers, making it the world’s largest telecommunication operator in terms of the coverage of 5G network and 5G user base, and testifying its declaration “China Mobile to 5G as China to the World”.
By the end of 2020, China Mobile will have built 300,000 5G base stations, making possible coverage of commercial 5G service in all the Chinese municipalities.
“We will accelerate 5G development integrating the network, terminals and applications, as we strive to develop over 100 million 5G users by the end of 2020,” said Jian.
