23 departments, including the National Development and Reform Commission, jointly issued a document calling for accelerating the construction and commercial pace of information infrastructure for 5G network, etc.
The document includes:
Accelerating the construction of new generation information infrastructure;
Accelerating the construction and commercial pace of information infrastructure for 5G network, etc.;
Supporting the transformation and upgrading of CATV network with 5G technology, and realizing the cable-wireless interaction as well as the interaction between large screens and small screens in residents' homes;
Promoting the deployment and application of the Internet of Vehicles;
Promoting the entry of information into villages and households comprehensively to build a comprehensive information service system for agriculture, and promoting the extension of public services to rural areas by relying on the “Internet Plus”;
Enhancing the access rate and popularization level of broadband users in rural areas and reducing the use cost of rural information network.
