Data showed that the total number of fixed Internet broadband access users of the three big carriers had reached 449 million by the end of December 2019 with a net increase of 41.9 million all year round. Among them, the number of users with access rate of 1000Mbps and above is 870,000, while there were 384 million fixed Internet broadband access users with access rate of 100Mbps and above, which accounted for 85.4% of the total number of fixed broadband users with an increase of 15.1% compared with that of the end of last year.
By the end of December, there had been a net increase of 17.36 million rural broadband users all year round and the total number had reached 135 million in China, 14.8% higher than that of the end of last year. The growth rate was 6.3% higher than that of urban broadband users.
The total number of 4G users in China reached 1.28 billion with a net increase of 117 million all year round, accounting for 80.1% of the total number of mobile phone users.
