China Academy of Information and Communications Technology issued a report of broadband fee in China in Q3 2019. The data show that the monthly household expenditure of mobile communications in China is 47.3RMB, decreased by 9.5% YoY; and that monthly household expenditure of fixed broadband is 35.8 RMB, decreased by 12 % YoY. The report says both the mobile communications and fixed broadband fees in China are in a low position globally.
In Q3 2019, the monthly household expenditure of mobile communications in China is 47.3RMB, ranking the 86th from low to high among all 240 countries and regions over the world, lower than the global average of 13.75 USD and far lower than developed countries including Japan (53.74 USD) and the US (54.52 USD).
The average fee of mobile data flow in China in Q3 is 5.1RMB/GB, greatly decreased by 47.8% YoY. The monthly mobile data usage of subscribers is nearly doubled at 7.56GB, increased by 93.6% YoY.
